kway tiao noodle OK Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

I packeted kway teow noodle for lunch and added in a piece of hashbrown and fried tofu.i paid for about $2.20 for this packet.Portion is big, but it was too oily for me.The hashbrown was already soggy, how nice it would taste if it is still hot.The piece of tofu is big but abit bland, it would taste better if i eat with chilli or ketchup.I would order their beehoon next time round as the noodle and kway teow is too oily for me,doent taste too healthy.

pandan chicken OK Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Indonesian | Bars/Lounges | Restaurant

I love Indonesian food for their rich flavours.I have not had pandan chicke for a long time and decided to order to try.Mine, i was blown off by the soft moist chicken that has absorbed the fragrance of the pandan leaves, leaving a sweet pandan aftertaste in my mouth after eating. The pandan chicken goes very well with the thai chilli sauce dip provided. The chilli sauce is on the sweet side and not too spicy, i really like this dish alot but price is abit expensive for only 4 pieces it cost more than $10.

roti prata OK Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court | Brunch

Roti pratas are one of my favourite snacks for breakfast and tea.Nowadays they have many new flavours, they add in eggs ,onions , crabsticks, tuna, chicken, sausages and even bananas.I prefer the usual plain ones and of course egg ones.Plain ones cost about $1.50 for 2 pieces and egg one cost about $1.20 each.I like the plain prata here as it is crispy even though u ordered takeaway home to eat.The curry gravy is delicious, although the prata itself is nice enough to eat on its own.

sushi OK Mar 31, 2011

This is a nice and quiet outlet.I like their ambience here, staff are attentive and quick to serve you too.My fried kani crabstick and breaded hotate comes presented to me in a nice plate, the items are nicely fried taste good as usual.I tried their new sushi which is pretty special, the bottom is made of round crispy ball in rice ball, not the usual sushi we see.it is also topped with mayo sauce and small prawns which are sweet. It is quite an unusual combination sushi but it tasted prettty good still.

chicken drumlets OK Mar 31, 2011   (Related Review)

Categories : Hawker Centre

I ordered their spicy chicken drumlets for takeaway for supper snack.Paid about $10 as i ordered some fries and coleslaw too.The drumlets were more salty than spicy.\The chicken is moist though,it tasted alot better when i dipped with thai chilli sauce., Fries were soggy by the time i reached home but the coleslaw was a sweet surprise, the veggies were crunchy and slightly sweet, i like it more than the chicken drumlets.
