Classic cheese burger Smile Jun 26, 2011

Categories : Japanese | Fast Food | Burgers and Sandwiches | Kids-Friendly

This burger has won over my taste buds and I think I will be coming back here soon.

I have tried the cheeseburger, which is simply a smaller version of the classic cheese burger. The classic burger has a thicker beef patty, which is kept juicy and tender and everything nice! It comes with a slice of tomato, onion and lettuce. It does not look very big, but it is fulfilling and so delicious.

You can add a side dish and drink for a complete meal, at $2 off the total bill.

2 pc fish Smile Jun 26, 2011

I always find that the fish is too expensive, costs around $7 plus for 2 pieces of fish. Not exactly worth the price, but I think it tastes much better than the chicken.

The fish is fried till the skin is very crispy but leaving the fish tender. It is slightly oily, but acceptable. You can ask for tar tar sauce for dipping. The fries is one of my all time favorite. It is seasoned and crispy, even after a while.

Honey ribs Smile Jun 26, 2011

The ribs were on a promotion and it was definitely value for money. Cheap and good in fact! The promotion has been going on for some time now, and I wonder when will it end.

Although on promotion, the size of the ribs is still large and meaty and definitely fulfilling. The meat is tender and sweet with the honey. It comes off easily from the bones too. By the time I finish the ribs, I would be too full to eat much of the side dishes, which tastes pretty normal.

Dim Sum Smile Jun 20, 2011

I was here on a Sunday afternoon and the reception area was filled with people waiting for seats. I made a reservation in the morning but the person claimed that I did not, because it was not in the book. Realizing that she might have forgotten to write it down, she told us to wait a while and gave us a table shortly after.

The dim sum here is sweet, good and fresh, with lots of prawns. The pricing is affordable too. Some of my favorites are the chives crystal dumplings and the prawn dumpling with scallop. They are very sweet and juicy and the skin is thin and chewy. The presentation is not very attractive, but the food definitely is.

Roti Prata Smile Jun 19, 2011

Categories : Indian | Coffeeshop | Curries

The prata has a strong buttery flavor which gives it a very nice brown texture. The prata is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It is thin and easy to bite. Further it is not very oily too. I prefer to have it with sugar, though the curry is not too bad. It costs $0.90 a piece.
