'Healthy Food Smile Nov 18, 2011

Be it on a weekday or weekend lunch time, this place is either packed with office crowd or families. This branch was just opened for a few months and yet the response is good. So I decided to give it a try. I must call this healthy food as I felt full for the whole day after eating. Food does not taste oily at all. My hubby ordered the dried laska which I took a few mouth to try, and I must say it does not taste a bit like laksa, the taste is great though. I love the burger as it is made from lean meat. The sauce in the burger goes well with the burger and lettuce. If you are a small eater, I suggest you share with friends as I find it really fillings.

mixed rice Smile Jul 15, 2011

Although this stall sells mixed rice at a rather higher price than most mixed rice stalls, you will never fail to see a long queue at this stall. The good thing is that you can packet your rice as early as 10:30am, and avoid all the queue and yet the rice will stay delicious and not soggy when you take it in the afternoon. Some of the dishes that I usually order are the fried chicken wing, lemon fish, tau kua with minced pork.

Char Siew rice Smile Jul 15, 2011

One of my favourite roast pork char siew rice stalls. The char siew is very well marinated with a good mixture of lean and fatty parts. The roast pork has a very crispy skin layer which literally is 'crunchy'. Lastly, I usually like my rice with more sauce and the stall lady is very generous about the sauce. Definitely a must try.

Pizza and Pasta Promotion Smile Jul 15, 2011

I was introduced to this shop from the radio station. One of the DJs like to go to this restaurant with his wife. It has been a while that I had eaten their pizza and pasta after my last visit with friends. Their food was really delicious and authentic Italian food but it seem they are not so family oriented. I have been their twice and they are always short of baby seats. So my friend ended up carrying his kids while dining.

Recently they came out with a promotion for home delivery and I think that is a good alternative for me. The promotion consist of 1 pizza and 1 pasta OR 2 pizza/pasta at a cost of $38. I ordered their Calzone which is a folded pizza with mozzarella cheese, ham and mushroom topped with tomato sauce. The other item was the Spaghetti Al Forno. Yum Yum!

steam cake Smile Jul 15, 2011

My little girl used to like this steam cake from breadtalk but I think her taste had changed and she no longer like this. But for me this steam cake still one of my favourite item for for to go with coffee or tea. I like the fuffiness of the cake and it still taste nice on the second day. However I find that most of the bread like the rasin bread which I had bought together with the steam bread became harder on the second day.
