This wanton stall is really cool, as they have a sign displaying your queue number . In fact, I think this is really useful as it can give you a rough gauge of the waiting time. The 2 famous wanton stalls are just side by side to each other and yet you can see that each stall has their own supporter. Personally, I like this stall as compare to the other as the wanton taste nicer. The noodle was springy and not soggy , so this is one of my favourite wanton stall.

Hup Lee has several branches all around Singapore, but I feel the key difference is in how the chicken wings is prepared and this varies from stall to stall. I ordered the noodle set that day for $2, and it comes with choice of noodle, one chicken wing and a very thin (it was really paper thin) slice of fried egg. The noodle was not too oily, and together with the chicken wing, which is very well fried and crisp, dipped in the chilli sauce, a nice budget breakfast.

Was rather disappointed with their prawn dumplings when I ordered it for the first time. So this time, I reminded my hubby not to order the prawn dumpling. I saw this stall in the magazine where one of the singer's recommendation for their fried beancurd, so I decide to give it a try. I waited for a while before it was served , and it was piping hot. I supposed they only steam or fried the items after customers had made their order. The fried beancurd was really cripsy and the filling was fragrance. I totally agreed with the singer's reccommendation.

Was impressed with their breakfast after my first try, so I decided to go back to try other breakfast items. I had orderd their a.m twister and a.m riser this round. The a.m riser really taste so silmilar to the colonel burger that they used to have long time ago. I prefered their a.m twister as it does not taste too oily but kind of bland so additional chilli sauce will be just nice.

The lunch crowds were coming in when I was chose my food, and I quickly ordered my chicken chop before the queue started. I like the idea where they separate the chicken chop and the fries so that it will not turn soggy when I reach home. The bread toast was rather normal. The seasoning for the chicken was done well but I do think that they could cook it longer to give it a richer colour . Sauce was kind of blend for me.
