Wanted to have a change for breakfast and my little girl wanted to eat pancake, so decided to go for KFC this round. To my surprise, the breakfast was really nice. The porridge was similar to those sold at hawker centre. The taste was not too bland and you would not feel thirsty after eating. I love their honey biscuit , which was filled with buttery taste when serve hot. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at KFC.

This is the first time I visited this restaurant, the ambience of the place was really classic and nice. We were given a big table that could sit 10 people , so it was rather comfortable. The buffet came with a bowl of shark fin and 1 serving of lobster. I ordered the cheese lobster and the meat was fresh and sweet. I could say that the selection of food was really wide spread , it ranges from dim sum to chinese cusine like wasibi prawn and double boil soup. The price is rather high but given the extent of the spread, I think it is worth the money for a once in a while splurge.

Was at this place with my family to try out their high tea. The environment of the place was really soothing, and we were seated at one of the corner seat. It took quite a while for the food to be served. The tea was served in pot which can last through the session. The second dish was the 3 tier light refreshment which consist of some sandwich and bread. I love their bread and spread that was given to us. I ordered the dim sum for the main dish, which was quite normal. Service was really slow and I do not recommend to go with family. It is a good place for friends gathering and have a nice long chat with.

This was the first time I see that they have pumpkin and taro at a Yong Tau Foo stall. So without a second thought, I selected both items. The china lady in charge of the stall was really polite, she asked if I wanted to add any sauce to my bowl of bee hoon. She gave me 2 big scoops when I told her it was not enough. Overall , I think the food was quite normal, and it was really too filling with the addition of taro and pumpkin. But I do like the idea of having that with just plain soup.

I remember they used to be very 'stingy' over their disposible knife many years back. I always need to ask from the counter as they only give forks for customers back then. But recent years the service seem to have improved. The standard of the food remain to be good after so many years and so does the size of the chicken fillets. It seem rather small to fill the stomach so I would normally go for it in between meals. I also like that they actually added some fried battered at the side to go along with the meal. Crispy and yummy.
