Chewy Junior OK Jul 12, 2013
Categories : Desserts and Cakes

Chewy Junior is best eaten on the day itself I would guess. I bought a pack of six, and had the Oreo one for snack while leaving the other 5 for the next day breakfast. The Oreo one was great, but for the rest, they tasted awful the next day. It was hard instead of soft and chewy that was supposed to be characteristic of the puffs. The double chocolate with chocolate rice crisp on top was the worst. It was soft instead of crunchy.

Fried Chicken  OK Jul 12, 2013
Categories : Filipino | Fast Food | Halal

There was no queue at all when I went on a Thursday afternoon, which is shocking in contrast to the long queue that I saw 3 months back! There was not much of a choice on the menu.

I had the 2 piece chicken joy set ($6.60), which comes with 2 pieces of chicken, rice and drink. Despite the craze over it, I find myself not liking the fried chicken. The skin is not crispy enough, and the chicken breast meat is so dry! sad

Icy Dessert  OK Jul 11, 2013
Categories : Food Court | Desserts and Cakes

I ordered the ice jelly, and it is a huge bowl of dessert, but mostly of ice and sugar syrup. The dessert served is of inconsistent amount, and varies greatly between customers. The person in front of my had 3 full scoop of jelly, while I only had some scrap lumps covered mostly by canned cocktail fruits. For the price paid ($2.30), the amount given is reasonable, but I wish for the auntie to be fairer. The dessert taste is average, as usual, the ice jelly taste good with the lime on it.

You mian OK Jul 07, 2013

Categories : Food Court | Noodles

Dry You mian is not the usual type that i would have, cause i would much prefer drinking soup. But it is the "recommended" dish of the stall, so i decided to give it a try. The thing that i like about this is that, instead of the minced meat they give sliced meat, which is quite soft and flavorful. But the down side of this dry noodle, there is no eggs like the normal handmade soup noodle. In addition, the noodles clamp together cause it is too dry even though there is sauce given. I think it is better to stick to the normal soup based noodles.

Reasonable Korean food OK Jul 07, 2013
Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Korean BBQ

Having seen the reviews, i made a reservations for 6 pax for dinner. When I arrived, I realized that my reservations was not recorded and the restaurant was only half filled on a Saturday night. The service was quite bad. The waitress spilled water on my friend's phone and rush off to take more napkins, but failed to apologize for the mistake. huffy

Service aside, I had the Chicken Bulgogi Set ($12++), which is a huge portion! There is way too much meat to finish on my own. The chicken is tender and well marinated, but a bit spicy. In addition, their side dishes are refillable. The potato salad with apple is very nice, and we had 4 refills of that.
