I really like to eat steamboat as it’s more ‘healthy’ and I can eat many different kind of items in one go. Usually we’d go to the ngee ann city branch but didn’t know it has ceased their operations, so after Googling, we found this instead. Served and seated by attentive and friendly staff together with a wide variety of choices here, I could easily be pampered!
Clear tasty chicken broth with fresh prawn, vegetable, assorted balls and my favourite the fish glue (soft and delicious).
I have no issues whatsoever with the place here. We all left with happy bellies velli happies with our money's worth.

Although Singapore is small but we still can find places with the 3S(Sea,sun and sand) in one place Sentosa. Hubby took a day off to go Sentosa with me for sun tanning session. Went to Coastes on Siloso Beach. The waiters were very friendly, they served me ice water once I’m seated. I ordered Fried battered dory fish with salad and mash potato.
The big crispy and tender fish with fresh crunchy greens and smooth creamy mashed potato was a classic western comfort food dish after a nice day out on the beach. They’ve got great ambience here and I really enjoyed my time.

Was walking around quiet cross street in the morning and came across this chic unique looking place “Club Street Social” on Gemmill Lane. We ordered

Toasted Ciabatta with mascarpone cream and jam , The italian white bread was well made , well toasted and crunchy mixed with the mascarpone cream and jam, it was moist and creamy.

French toast with caramelised banana , I loved the banana with the butterscotch dressing on the top. French toast was crunchy as well and evenly charred perfect.

Lattes were rich, aromatic and loved the elegant designs.

City Space Smile Jul 30, 2013

Chilling out with my friends at City Space Swissotel. Really cool place with awesome scenery! Gotta apologize if my photos taken is a bit dark and blurry as this place is dimly lit (of course to enjoy the full experience of the outside view with minimal light pollution). We ordered a bottle of Chandonnay ($65++); servers are really friendly. We were served with assorted nuts and crackers. Would come back here again for a nice night out!

Chye Seng Satay Smile Jul 30, 2013

Categories : Hawker Centre

I had a friend from Germany coming in to Singapore for the first time so I brought her around for some local delights at Old Airport Road. We ordered pork and chicken satay. The well marinated pork satay is tender and succulent and there is a piece of crispy pork lard alternating in between order of each stick. The chicken which was also well seasoned, unfortunately was tough and dry. The peanut sauce was creamy thick and nutty but too bad it didn’t have a pineapple in it which some satay stalls provide.
