Visiting a casual while affordable Japanese restaurant which specialized Slow Charcoal Grilling method, it was totally trendy new dining edition for me. At Hamanoya, there was a wide range of fresh sashimi and also grilled delicacies with top freshness and quality. Comfy environment with proficient service, theme of décor was pretty and unique. All their condiments containers are cute and neat, definitely a fantastic dinning place.
Refresh Mix
We opted for healthier choice, of course the set included their signature grilled fish. Beautifully presented in a wooden boat platter, some pickles and Miso soup came along side by side. Colourful classic mix of sushi, the combination was appealing enough to attract my taste buds. Unfortunately, I found the fish was a little dry yet the sauce went well with sushi. I must say the Salmon was fresh, Tempura and Ramen did its part well. Overall was simple and enjoyable. Reasonable portion for reasonable price, it costed at $24.99. Sharing by two of us, it was satisfying meal indeed. Table Wait Time: 5 minute(s)

I had been Westgate during a relax weekends, although the district detached there was a little confusing but I quite like the good mix of restaurants along the path. Decided to try Chicken Hot Pot which was a franchise from Shanghai, it specialized in pot cuisines and steamboat. Pretty comfort dining environment, place was not too exaggerated yet spacious and bright. Menu provided with extensive choices, they also offered package in couple or ala-carte.
Yummy Sizzling
Basically, there are four kinds of Hot Pot available - Chicken, Prawns, Beef and Fish. While recommended, we opted for fish instead of chicken as Ryan was a spicy adverse. Smoky fragrance was appealing, soup was just nice and not too salty. Fish was fresh indeed, meat was tender as well. Portion was average, price was sensible too. Personally, I like this dish especially during rainy day, extra warm and whole-hearted feeling. Great experience to cheer out here, everything was flavourful and definitely gave a strong kick and heat. Dinner was a pleasant affair, and thanks their staffs for the good decent service. Once in a while, I went for Western food habitually. Yes maybe, I admit I am a Western lover, whenever wherever. I am going to talk about my experience at Swensen's, one of Singapore's most popular family restaurant. Comfy environment with extensive menu, it offered appetizer, soup, main course, salad until dessert. Specialized in ice-cream and blended beverages too, we were spoilt of choices.
Crispy Bites
It's simply one of the best and most popular dishes ever. Crispy golden-fried fish piece, flesh was thick and moist. Came along with Coleslaw, French fries were poured at the bottom. Tangy combination while accompanied with tartar sauce, the plate was just nice without overwhelming. Coleslaw was freshly cool and ideally matched with crunchy fix. Price was reasonable, portion was enough. Not my first time to visit Swensen's, of course it wouldn’t be my last time. Table Wait Time: 5 minute(s)

Would you like to try a Bear Paw? Not the real paw, it was actually a burger-style meal with its outlay covered by a bear paw looking bun. I heard it was originated from Taiwan, unique idea became famous and started its market overseas since last year. Friend service, the stall looked clean and neat in general. Personally, I opted for fish with the flesh was chunkier and gave a better texture while eating. Bun was soft along with a generous meat in between, sauce excellently matched the whole. Little crispy and tangy, the combination was good. Portion wise, the size was just alike normal fast food meal. Don’t worry, it was filling and satisfying. Price was okay too, at least I felt worthwhile and very delicious. Photogenic burger, Bear Paw was not only delicious but also tempting in appearance. Recommended Dish(es):

Breaking news for foodies, there is Korea’s garlic-themed Italian restaurant in Singapore. Special concept brought by Mad for Garlic, they have total of two branches locally at the moment. Easy to access when talking about the place, it was located at Suntec City Mall. Comfortable atmosphere with appropriate lightning, the restaurant was grand pretty. Staffs were readily standby and served us politely once we arrived, impressive indeed.

Garlicful Crisp
While we were expecting a thick bread pizza based, it took us completely by surprise. Pizzas presented at Mad for Garlic were authentically Italian-baked I suppose, It was a perfect slice as if handling a piece of popiah. I had to use both hands to prevent the toppings from falling off, a blend of mouthwatering shrimps, diced pineapple and cloves of fried garlic. The white flakes that look like snow was optional, menu were flexible and catered to customer’s preference. Price was reasonable, around $23 for my pizza. Really liked it a lot and will definitely make my way back, I am already planning to revisit Mad for Garlic. Table Wait Time: 5 minute(s)
