My friend suggested having pizza/ pasta for dinner, so we decided to head to Skinny Pizza at Wheelock Place, given that I had always passed by this outlet while on the way to MTM but never had the chance to taste its thinly crusted pizzas.Although its signature pizza was the Squid Ink Pizza, we ordered a Smoked Turkey Swiss Pizza ($23++) instead as I can't take seafood. The crust was really thin and crispy, and I liked it very much. However it felt a bit weird to put Smoked Turkey and Blueberrie

Both ingredients were great on its own, but when combined together, we just thought it's funny.

We heard a lot about the Truffle Fries that Skinny Pizza serves so we wanted to try it for ourselves. The waitress advised us to order the Truffle Fries and 1/2 metre long sausage set, as they have a $15++ promotion for 3 sides (we later realise the 1/2 metre long sausage was considered 2 sides).

When the fries came it didn't appeal to us that it was any special from other fries we have eaten elsewhere, and true enough, there was no "WOW" from either of us. Hence I didn't bother to take a picture LOL. The portion was not that big too, for an original price of $7++, don't think it's worthwhile. As for the 1/2 metre long sausage, it was cut into half and served into 2 portions for us separately. Original price for this sausage was $12++!

The sausage was quite nice, but became too salty as we ate. Imagine the fries portion was just the same size as this container for my sausage, expensive isn't it? Luckily we didn't order another pizza or pasta to share as we were very full by the time we finish all our food.

I think next time if I visit Skinny Pizza again, I can skip the fries and sausage, just concentrate on eating the pizzas haha.
