They do not charge service charge here, so you are expected to write your orders down on a mini menu chit and pass it to a nearby waitress. Sometimes it's hard to attract the attention of the waitresses, but I guess you shouldn't expect much service here.I am a big fan of custard bao and I still like their serving of Steamed Creamy Custard Bao ($3) which is made out of flowy custard, salted egg filling encased in a nice pandan bao dough. I also had their Steamed Carrot Cake with Dried Scallop ($4) which was definitely served hot, as shown in the picture with lots of steam. I enjoyed the chewy pieces of carrot cake topping with a little sesame, spring onion and dried scallop bits. The carrot cake isn't too oily and goes very well with the soya sauce provided below. Very satisfying!
