Super nice. I mean, out of all the different bak kut teh i have eaten, this bak kut teh is the most unique one i ever tasted. . The thicker the soup base for this is, it tells me about the duration used to broth this dish that is so hard to handle . The pork ribs are oh so tender that it does not require much effort from your teeth to remove it from it's bone. It literally "melts" in your mouth when it touches your tongue. No kidding. Yes, some parts of the meat might be a little bit fattening but hey, isn't it already fattening for you to consume bak kut teh? haha.
The pig trotters are ok - I don't really know how to enjoy the taste but i know a good pig trotters must used the correct amount of vinegar to bring out the best out of pig trotters and it's sauce. My colleagues love them and keeps on complementing it
.
*Try soaking all of the "you tiao" given in the soup base and enjoy !
