Went for dinner at Choa Chu Kang foodfare. Staall is situated next to the back door of the foodcourt. Although the name of the stall is GO Duck Rice, it is actually owned by the well-known 友记家传鸭饭 (you ji jia chuan ya fan).

Meat: the meat are tender and flavourful.

Soup: I changed the usual braised sauce to soup which made the entire meal less sweet and more appetizing.

Noodle: Personally, I prefer kway teow. It is smooth and won't become starchy or break easily even after soaking in the hot soup for a period of time. (As there are not much kway teow left at the end of the day, the store owner gladly top up with egg noodle). For a $3.50 meal, I must say, the quantity of noodle is extremely filling.

Other ingredients: There were a few slices of fishcake. It is not the usual plain white fishcake. But these had chilli and bits of green in them. Personally, would prefer if it had some beansprouts too..

Overall, it was a wonderful bowl of duck noodle.
