Tucked away from the main stretch of Orchard Road at Park Mall, Kith Cafe has a steady stream of patrons throughout the day -understandably so with its reasonably priced sandwiches and coffee. Surprise, surprise - they also serve mains that range from $14 - $20+, such as pastas and meats. Coffee prices are great too - $4 for a latte, $5 for a mocha and they serve protein shakes/juices too. Its cosy interior has lots of wood and black boards, in which they write what each of their staff members' favourite dishes are. Quite a unique touch that makes this place so homey! There's an outdoor (sheltered!) seating and an indoor seating, but seating is relatively limited and the tables are communal.

They offer a small selection of cakes too such as Tiramisu, but check out the liquor in stock. They offer wines, beers and even sake -an interesting selection given the size of this small cafe.

The Mushroom Sandwich is $12, with grilled chicken with parmesan, mozarella and capers, sandwiched between thin focaccia slices. On the side you also have corn chips! An interesting complement. In my opinion, the bread was lovely and crispy, but I would have liked the sandwich less dry and with a bit of dressing. I noticed that the bread had balsamic vinegar on it, which gave the chicken a slightly tangy flavour, but it was overall not moist enough
The chicken had charred edges though, which was tasty because of the smoky flavour that enhanced the sandwich. I would also have liked some vegetables in my sandwich!

The Tuna Sandwich is $9, and the bread is of wholegrain variety. The tuna filling is plentiful and generous, and this one came with tomato slices. The tuna wasn't overly mashed (you can still taste the flakes of the tuna) and it was less dry than the chicken sandwich. The bread served here is generally pretty toasty, so if you're the kind who likes your sandwich 'lightly toasted', this isn't gonna work out well for you at all.

They also serve add-ons such as scrambled eggs, bacon or sausages at an extra charge of $3 - $4 if you're not ordering the main dishes like pasta.

The latte was average - the beans were slightly acidic at first sip, and I would have liked a creamier, smoother taste to my coffee. It was better after it had cooled for a while as the creaminess of the milk was more pronounced, but when left til stone cold, that same creaminess was lost. Sigh! Best to drink when warm!

Service in general is warm and the staff is really friendly, they also serve water (which they attentively refill!). Great for chilling out if you're in the area. May not have the best food but the quality is decent and the food is ideal for brunch! Their breakfast items are served till 3pm!
