The exterior from afar resembles another well-known Japanese restaurant and that attracted me to enter. Only realised it is called Akashi when I reached the entrance, and since I had not tried them before, I decided to give them a shot.

The result was a sad dinner. The service staff was slow in the delivery of food orders.

Cha soba was too tough for the chewing. grilled squid sushi which I had been looking forward to. I was disappointed with its mild not fresh stench and irregularly grilled texture. The eel handroll was edible though. The less than average taste convinced me that this is not a place I will revisit.

The seats were a tad too close for comfort.
