The FoodI ordered char kway teow which looked kind of messy and could see slight burned chars on the noodles and on the other ingredients.Ingredients were quite impressive as there were ample ingredients of prawns, sliced fish cakes, sliced waxed sausages and cockles. It had a very good wok hei and was quite unique tasting, more like a combination between Penang Char kway teow and our local version. The PriceReasonably priced at $3.00 per plateOverallI will definitely come back again and highly re

Best char kway teow has got to be the one at Dong Ji's! I was surprised that there were no awards and no media coverage about this stall. It's simply a hidden treasure!! However, prawns were slightly mushy the last time I went. The other times, they were fine. I will definitely go back for more. I love the taste, the subtle spiciness, and the texture of the kway teow

The Kway Teow is fried only when ordered. I usually ordered the $4 one cos it comes with more ingredients. The store don't use pre fried Kway Teow; nowadays many stores uses pre fried Kway Teow to save time which I think do affect the taste. The fried Kway Teow uncle has very unique character and he don't talk much. He just node his head after taken your order and point to the disposable utensils if you need them.

This stall always has a super long queue and is usually sold out at 1:30pm. Not sure why since the char kway teow is very average. The service is nothing to recommend. The stall doesn't look very clean and there's nothing special about the CKT here. Overhyped I think. The CKT from a few doors down at Jackson's is much better with better service. The CKT at the infamous Lau Fu Zi is also pretty good. All the CKT at this food centre cost around $3 to $4. Not really recommended. Pretty greasy too.
