I had ordered their chicken curry rice from pepper lunch at Clementi. It was very delicious especially the chicken was very tender and soft to bite on. The rice was soft too and the pepper spread on the rice left a mild sensation on our palette. I personally prefer to mix it with their signature honey mustard when it was hot with the rice, it improve the saltiness and provide a sweet taste to the chicken. Yummy! On top of that, clementi mall pepper lunch is located in the food court, which my friend can order other food at the same time i can enjoy my pepper lunch. The only thing i dislike is the long queue before me as it was during lunch hour, which made the stuff provide bad attitude as she was trying to serve the customers as fast as possible. continue reading

a new addition to the pepper lunch menu, the chicken scallop rice looks very nice on the menu so gotten it try. i asked for no chili sauce and chili pepper and added only bbq sauce. the grilling chicken smell very nice but i noticed most of the chicken meat contained alot of fats so could hardly eat any chicken. there was approximately 5 pieces of scallop there so i think still quite value for money continue reading

My friends and I went to FoodFare at Clementi Mall this afternoon to have a lunch. After going 1 round, we finally decided to have Pepper Lunch for our Lunch (lol). My friend and I ordered Salmon Pepper Rice. For me, additional egg was added. While my another friend ordered Chicken Pepper Rice. The salmon pepper lunch is HOT and delicious. I added in the honey sauce and soya sauce and mixed the ingredients together. The egg and the salmon absorbed the sauce pretty good and I love it. There is also miso soup when you order a meal. The miso soup is salty but yet it is full of flavour. The meal cost me 8 dollar but I was satisfied with it. continue reading

i went to clementi mall with my family over the weekends, could not decide what to have so i settled for the usual pepper lunch express. i prefer the outlet ones, got more variety. here, i ordered the most common and popular, curry beef pepper rice with cheese. the portion was much similar to the outlets. however the brown sauce was much more watery and the garlic soya did not taste as good. the beef was sliced so thinly that it totally dried up on the hot plate. next time i will just go to their outlets. continue reading

I went with my hubby to clementi for dinner. We headed to food fare for some nice hawker food. However I could not decide what to have so I chose to have pepper lunch express. I never tried pepper lunch express, but since they have food I want, I opted for it. I ordered their curry beef pepper rice with cheese. The portion was just nice, not too much, the beef was thinly slice, so it was a little dry but nevertheless, it went really well with the rice. I love the way the cheese melts with the hot rice. the brown sauce and the garlic soya adds extra flavor to the meal. I was a satisfied customer. continue reading
