I am always finding "the" chee cheong fun in Singapore. i wanted the taste of Hong Kong, not exactly the same but at least similar. And YESH ! I FOUND IT IN THIS HUMBLE KOPITIAM INSTEAD OF SOME DIM SUM RESTAURANT.This is the best i have tasted so far. It is just different. The roll is freshly made on the spot hence you got to wait for a while. This crucial step has make the texture so different from those already pre-made roll in the usual wooden basket.I believe that i can have 10 plates of this for lunch ! Definitely coming back again ! continue reading

I went there yesterday for lunch, craving for juice so ordered itTheir juice was quite expensive compare to those outside fruit juicea cup of watermelon with ice cost $2.10, I had the green apple juice as it cost $2.60 with ice, and outside cost $2.50,just about 10cent difference so I had this Before i ordered, there's a lady who ordered red apple, after the staff made her juice, she immediately make mine without washing it Thee price is expensive, don't think will come here for their juice again. continue reading

I went to a Kopitiam one day & was looking for baus. When I spotted Chee Cheong fun on their menu & I decided to try it out. It is a steamed rice roll, cut into bite size pieces. This one din't have any filling inside. A yummy black soy & chilli sauce was poured on the top of the rolls. It was really yummy. It looked like a healthy meal, since it was not oily & I really enjoyed it since I am a soya sauce fan. The rolls tasted yummy with the sauce. It costed about 2- 3 $ or less & was so filling. I simply Loved it. continue reading

The coffee here is quite thick in flavour and really love those generous amount of condensed milk added to the coffee which make it more fragrant and taste even better. Would be better if the cup used in this stall can be slightly bigger as i think the portion is too little right now. And for the price of one dollars and forthy cents per cup, I think is abit high for a foodcourt hot beverage. Still because of its good taste, I will still be back again for more. continue reading

This lotus leaf rice from this dim sum stall is one of my favourite choice of dim sum whenever I visit this stall. The outlook may look plain and unattractive, but if you seriously open it up, you will be surprise on how generous the amount of chicken sliced meat have been provided in it. The chicken meat is tender and very juicy, and love those light salted gravy used in cooking this dish which has really enhance the flavour of it. continue reading
