Had been patronizing this restaurant for a few times now. This comparatively small eatery screams a huge variety of dishes; from appetizers like fried tofu with thai sauce, dishes like craypot noodles, fried rice,Lor mee to their very own yong tao foo items (素酿件).I personally recommand the curry dishes like Curry chicken craypot. The not-too-spicy gravy is so pungent with coconut milk ,and filled with generous servings of tomatoes, eggplants, lady fingers, tofu skin (Tau Bok) and mock chicken. I can't even tell this is vegetarian! Best eaten piping hot. Another signature dish is their craypot rice. Roasted Rice with Chinese Sausage slices {Mock of course} and veggies, topped with self-added sesame oil and dark soy sauce. Hmm.....WHAT'S MORE YOU CAN ASK FOR?*If you find it too thirst inducing you can drink the small bowl of soup given as a side. Full of chinese herby goodness. Service is fast and efficient. Worth the money too! Truly satisfied my appetite for quality Vegetarian cuisine. continue reading

Suggested to bring my parents for a vegetarian treat and they had agreed without much hesitation. The queue was long enough and with their efficient service, we finally secure a seat for 3 without much waiting.Orders are made by filling up the ordering slip and payment were made at the counter. The dish comes quite quickly:Fried Oyster Mushroom, S$8.80, fried to golden perfection tastes abit oily. These crunchy thin strips are very appetizers before our meal. There are a few choices of rice for us and my mum had chosen the yam rice at S$1.00.I have chosen the brown rice as I heard that it is has health benefits, easily accept and digest by our system.Cod Fish, S$5.80. These mock fish smells like the real one. With wolfberries and fried ginger stripes to enhance its taste. My mum was asking if the Bak Kut Teh , S$4.80 has refillable soup like the normal BKT outside but they do not have refill. The soup has herbs taste and comes with a few pieces of mock meat. Luo Han Zhai, S$7.00, is another simple dish that goes well with all rices.Sweet and sour Pork, S$9.80. Still tastes as good as the last round I had.Initially I thought I have over ordered as there is only 3 of us but the plates are all emptied. continue reading
