As the first city in Asia to hold Restaurant Week, Singaporeans are more than happy to welcome its third edition, which will be held from 9 to 16 October 2011. Only on its 2nd year, organizers have made it a bi-annual event due to the overwhelming response from diners. In March 2011 alone, the gourmet event saw more than 24,000 bookings.
“This is the third time we are organizing Singapore Restaurant Week and we are looking forward to a great response as diners can expect a diverse selection of new dining choices during this upcoming Restaurant Week.,” says Miss Desi Wentink, Managing Director of Dining City Singapore.
The rules are the same but the restaurant list has only gotten longer. Now, there are 87 restaurants where diners can choose to have their three-course lunch ($25++) or dinner ($35++). Some restaurants, though, charge an additional charge of $15 and $25, which brings the total amount to $40++ for lunch and $55++ for dinner.
