From now until 31 March 2012, they have a new menu which has dishes with playful names (in Chinese) and colourful characters to boot. For starters, opt for their Watercress soup ($6.90) which has a light flavour just enough to tickle your palate. If you’re ready for more, then you can have the Friends Platter ($23.80) which has the meatiest prawn rolls, abalone slices, fish balls with roe, clams, jellyfish, and fried dory slices. This is big enough for at least 4 people so go ahead and share this dish with your loved ones.
Xin Wang Hong Kong Café knows that you generally love to spice up our food, so they have a couple of dishes which can give your palate a little bit of a kick. For something warm, you can have the Spicy Beehoon Soup ($8.90) which has generous portions of meatballs and flavourful soupbase.
Seafood Tofu with Chili Crab Sauce ($11.90) and Spicy Beef Beehoon Soup ($8.90)
For some, this can be a bit light so fret not for they also have other dishes such as the Spicy Chicken Hot Pot Rice ($7.90) and the Seafood Tofu with Chili Crab Sauce ($11.90).
Mango Sago and Pomelo Cream ($6.20)
Now, if all these dishes have set your mouth on fire, cool it down with their signature Mango Sago and Pomelo Cream ($6.20). As you dig deeper, you’d be surprised to uncover many other ingredients which make this such a treat!
