Full Knead To Eat review here: http://ivanteh-runningman.blogspot.sg/2014/04/knead-to-eat.htmlTucked away in the quiet Changi Business Park area, Knead To Eat isn't a place you'll stumble upon, unless you work in the nearby area. Founded by owner Mumtaz, Knead To Eat is an artisinal sandwich and coffee joint, offering hot and fresh food that can easily be eaten on the go.Ambience at Knead To Eat is simple and muted, with colours of wood and black dominating the small floor space. There is sufficient seating, though slightly cramped, and tables are lit by low hanging spotlights. However, most customers of Knead To Eat normally order takeaway, and thus, Knead To Eat also has a very popular catering option as well.Service at Knead To Eat is excellent. Staff are friendly and efficient, taking and fulfilling orders quickly, with a smile. If your order takes slightly longer, they normally ask you to have a seat first. Even payment, which is supposed to be self-service at the counter, sometimes results in staff helping you make payment tableside.Knead To Eat has easily, some of the best sandwiches I've had in Singapore, and is worth a visit on this alone. Choose from 6 different types of bread, 7 types of fillings for breakfast, and 9 types of fillings for lunch or dinner. Premium quality ingredients are used, and food is fresh and hearty. Portions are nicely sized for the price. Don't miss their excellent coffee as well! I find the Latte and Mocha here to be very good, full bodied and strongly fragrant. The Hot Chocolate is very good as well, deep and rich with a medium thickness. However, they don't always do art, except during non-peak periods. Brutus' Roast Beef (SGD $10.90) features tender, juicy beef that was cooked in a water bath, then lightly seared to perfection. Topped with nicely sauteed mushrooms and caramelised onions with stringy cheese, this is extremely satisfying. I had mine on Dark Rye bread. Tuna Meltdown (SGD $9.90) features large amounts of flaked tuna fish with fresh tomatoes. A melty duo of cheese is used, namely cheddar and mozzarella. I loved the sharpness and tangyness of this sandwich. I had mine on Ciabatta loaf bread. continue reading
