I'm a fan of Swenson's when it comes to the large servings of hearty american grub but it's disappointing that their soup is a total mess. Clam chowder soup is not served as hot as I'll like it to be and the worst thing is that the... had a salad and soup for lunch and it's really tasty. Extra love for the ceaser salad's cheesy crust which doubled up as a bowl for the greens. Smoked salmon is ok and the greens were fresh/crunchy.  Whatever space that's left i...Chinese desserts will always come to mind whenever I'm at Bugis. I think there's a few shops selling Chinese desserts along Liang Seah Street.
