Walking down Orchard Road and looking for some drinks to combat the sweltering heat and to sooth that parched throat of yours? Why not pop by T.G.I Friday's, a casual diner hailing from New York, to try out their new set of innovative cocktails?
Pink Punk Cosmo Martini
The star addition to their multitude of 400 refreshing tropical drinks is the Pink Punk Cosmo Martini (S$12.90), a Cosmopolitan with a delightful twist. The friendly bartender gracefully strains a bewitching chilled Cosmopolitan out of a shaker into a martini glass filled to the brim with pink cotton candy! You get more than just a drink with sugary bits in every smooth sip, in fact, you get a whole show of rapidly dissolving cotton candy. Lucky for you OpenRicers, we've got this captured.
Mango Caramel Mojito
Connoisseurs will savour the Mango Caramel Mojito (S$12.90), made with fresh mint leaves, premium Bacardi® rum, mango puree and caramel syrup. The sweet after-taste will leave your taste buds yearning for another gulp of this Cuba-inspired elixir. Other flavours include the Strawberry Mojito, Signature Mojito and the Apple Cucumber Mojito, which contains Bacardi® rum, fresh mint, lime, Green Apple and Cucumber syrups. For something that tastes so healthy, this cocktail sure packs a punch!
Ultimate Sangria
Also appearing on the menu for the first time is the Ultimate Hawaiian Volcano(S$14.90), an 18oz treat of heavenly proportions. Feel your mouth erupt with the tantalising flavours in this concoction made up of tropical juices, Southern Comfort®, DiSaronno® Amaretto, Smirnoff® Vodka and grenadine. Another note-worthy creation in the Ultimate series is the Ultimate Margarita, consisting of Jose Cuervo® Gold, Cointreau® and a triple-citrus margarita mix of lemon, lime and orange flavours. The unforgettable crowd favourite, the Ultimate Mango Mai Tai is the epitome of a tropical drink, bursting with coconut rums, mango and other tropical juices.
Ultimate Long Island Tea
If you need an immediate burst of energy, try the Red Bull Passion Slush (S$7.90). Filled to the rafters with Passion Fruit and Guava goodness, this non-alcoholic pickme-up will have you raring to go in no time! Another non-alcoholic smoothie favourite has to be the sweet, innocent and delicious Berry Strawberry. Strawberries and ice are simply blended into a smooth, cool beverage that will leave you licking your lips and reaching out for the next sip.
