4 March – 17 July 2016 marks the return of the wildly popular Durian Fiesta at Goodwood Park Hotel – a highly anticipated event that continues to pique the interest of durian lovers in Singapore year after year. From its 33rd edition, you can expect a total of 13 luscious confections made with D24 and Mao Shan Wang varieties, all of which can be purchased at the hotel’s Deli. While signatures like the Durian Puff and Durian Crepe aren’t going anywhere, here’s an overview on their slew of new products and what you should look out for!

The New and Exciting

For those who enjoy the sweet and salty combination, don’t miss the new Durian Black Sea Salt Caramel Cake ($13/slice, $85/cake, pictured on top). Here, Hawaiian black sea salt is used to complement the hefty durian and caramel flavours. Another tea time treat to consider is the Durian Kueh Lapis ($12/slice, $62/cake, pictured), where a durian mousse and almond sponge is framed by the classic layered cake.

The Ice Cream Entourage

While last year’s much-raved Durian Rainbow Ice Cream Cake can now be bought in a 10.5-inch long version ($52), some petite treats have tottered in to steal our hearts – Mini D24 Ice Cream Bars (pictured). At $6 per stick, they come in flavours such as dark chocolate, pink chocolate and white chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. For scoop believers, D24 Durian Ice Cream and "Mao Shan Wang" Ice Cream will also be available in tubs ($18 and $25 respectively).

The "Limited-Time-Only"

From 28 May to 17 July, look out for their limited edition specials such as the jumbo-sized profiterole “Mao Shan Wang” Power Puff ($19.80/piece) and a new “Mao Shan Wang” Mousse Cake ($62/500g, pictured).
