
Before the food tasting session, Restaurant Manager Bella introduced the restaurant to the hungry foodies.

Shi Wei Tian is run by a young person, who put up this place as a tribute to his grandmother. As such, the interior is decorated with antique pieces which give off an old-school yet homey vibe to the whole place.

As for the recipes, these were also inspired by his grandma’s cooking, which he loved as a child!
The members were then treated to the following dishes:

-Guinness Stout Pork Ribs
-Golden Pumpkin
-Signature Tofu
-Salted Egg Crab

-Chai Poh Fish
-Drunken Herbal Chicken Soup

For most OpenRicers, the highlight was definitely the Salted Golden Pumpkin and the tender juicy Guiness Stout Pork Ribs slathered in special sauce. The session ended with all of them being treated to a cotton candy feast!

Overall, it was a memorable dining experience where everyone enjoyed FREE FOOD in the company of fellow foodies. Kai fan, loh!
