Fans of these two Italian eateries would be glad to know that they have prepared a special dinner set and brunch spread to celebrate 2013. For Da Paolo Restaurant (Holland Village and Club Street), they have prepared a Classic Italian three- course dinner set menu which features a starter, three main course options, and dessert. Priced at $98++, you get a glass of Prosecco and a Salad of pan-fried foie gras, green apple and mixed salad with a balsamic glaze. For the main course, you can choose from Scarmoza and mushroom stuffed Caramelle pasta with broccoli puree and sage, Pan-fried king fish with Savoy cabbage, potato puree and lobster bisque reduction, or Pan-fried veal tenderloin with grilled zucchini and bell papers, pomegranate and veal jus. Now, to end your wonderful meal, you also get the Nougat mousse with mixed berries. When it comes to Da Paolo BistroBar, they also have a dinner and brunch spread to make sure that you have a full tummy for the New Year. For only $65++, it offers a three set New Year’s Eve menu which includes dishes such as Wafered Duck Leg in Duck Skin, Black Ink Risotto, or Wagyu Beef Burger. The newest casual eatery and bar in Orchard is all set to welcome the New Year with a special Dinner Buffet spread. Feast on a wide array of international bites which include their signature Beef Tartare Cones, Crispy chicken wings, Cold Cuts and Cheese platters. For seafood lovers, they have choices such as oysters, lobsters, mussels, prawns, octopus, Tuna sashimi, Hamachi sashimi, Ama ebi sashimi, and Salmon sashimi. A buffet won’t really be complete without desserts, so there’s also a table dedicated to sweets like Chilled champagne soup with berries, Tiramisu, Semolina dumplings, warm raspberries, and Homemade cinnamon ice-cream. At The Cliff, you can indulge in a six-course dinner set for $246 per pax. For this premium amount, you get to savour dishes which include Wagyu rib-eye with sautéed wild mushroom, Scampi with foie gras, Smoked eel and foie gras ice cream; and Multi-grain & pumpkin soup with seared Hokkaido scallop. If you’re more into international cuisine, then head over to The Terrace. For New Year’s Eve, feast on mouth-watering treats like Turkey roulade with stuffing and gravy, Gammon ham with homemade apple sauce, selection of crabs, prawns, slipper lobsters, oysters, and yabbies.
