Because this are the places that offer a wide variety of seafood dishes which include my favourite sambal stingray, fried oyster, sambal lala and many more. I decided to try out the fried oyster from this stall to see is there any difference from the above mentioned food market. First of all, the starch portion is not too concentrated and is mixed thoroughly with the egg mixture. There is a slight crispyness in the starch and egg mixture and does not taste too oily. The oyster used is fresh and quite juicy. As for the chili sauce, it taste refreshing and goes very well with the oyster but I think it is a little too watery. Overall, this plate of fried oyster is quite up to the standard and price wise is also reasonable.

Decided to try the char kway teow from this stall for dinner. The char kway teow was quite oily but it was nicely fried and very fragrant. I like the bean sprouts added in the noodles because it adds crunch to the otherwise dull noodles. The portion was quite big given that is only cost $3-4. I ended up sharing it with my sibling because I couldn’t finish it by myself.

One evening, my Dad bought dinner back from Boon Lay Place, one place where we usually eat out at too. In addition to dinner he also bought some other food like this Oyster Omelet from the usual store. It is nicely fried with plenty of eggs and oysters. The oysters were quite fresh and does not have this fishy smell one would encounter if its been left for some time. They also added the vegetables which provided some "kick" with its tart flavour.

Many had seen buying more of Ghee Huat's Fried Oyster than their Char Kway Teow (CKT) as I felt that they are more specialized in their oysters. Over dinner, we ordered CKT and this was a special order as we requested it to be "blacker" with dark sauce. This version of CKT was considered sweet to me perhaps due to that it was requested for a "blacker" appearance. What I like about the plate of CKT was that it was packed with egg fragrances and ingredients portions was generous. Overall its a dec

The Oyster Omelette ($4) has a very fragrant wok hei to it with much more egg than oysters, the way I like it. While it may seem not so generous, I don't really enjoy the oysters taste directly but more of the omelette egg when it has been stirred fried with the oysters. It definitely has the classic quality of hawker oyster omelette standard and I really love it! Though it isn't exactly a meal, this is best shared with friends. This is fried oyster egg without the gluey starch. It costs a dollar more for oyster fried without the starch, but it is healthier! The oysters were quite soft and there were not many pieces- about six. For five dollars, the portion was small. It was well-fried, very little overcooked parts and it was not too oily. It was a not too bad side dish!
