This is one of those restaurants which takes into consideration feedback from customers. The reason why I say this is because the cashier will always check with the customer whether he/she is happy with the food prior to customer leaving the place. Indeed a customer-oriented restaurant!Personally, I like the si ji dou (as shown in the first picture). It is flavourful and yet not too salty and hence, I do not have to eat it with rice. The sheng jian bao (as shown in the second picture) is however, as not as tasty as I have expected. The first time I had sheng jian bao was in Shanghai and it tastes much better than this. Therefore I am quite disappointed. As for the pork floss fried rice, I think that it tastes quite good. 繼續閱讀

I went to Nanxiang for some Dim Sum. The deep fried prawn dumpling was one of the chef's recommendation selection in the restaurant. It costs $4.50 for 3 pieces. The prawn dumpling's crust is very thin and crispy. Its not too oily and has a nice flour taste. The prawn used is very fresh and meaty. It was very crunchy, sweet and juicy. Additionally, the prawn dumplings are relatively big in size which somewhat justifies the price along with its taste. I personally really liked the deep fried prawn dumplings. They are probably the best I've had in Singapore so far. Strongly recommended! 繼續閱讀

Was recommendated by the service staffs to try this red bean pastry. Was quite surprise the portion of it is very small when served to my table. The pastry crust is quite crispy and taste quite similar to those normal tau sa piao which you can from those traditional bakery shops. The red bean paste is quite smooth and thick in texture, however I think is slightly abit too sweet. The combination was quite alright except I think the price is a bit expensive for nearly four dollars, I can only get two small pieces of it. Moreover, the standard service charge and goods and services tax are not yet included to the price yet. 繼續閱讀

My second visit to this chinese restaurant. This time round i decided to try one of their noodles dish. Have tried their fried noodles and it was served to me less than ten minutes. The noodes are really chewy and soft. The dark sauce used in cooking the noodles is very fragrant and not too salty. Even though this dish does not have lots of ingredients in it, but the taste is good enough to satisfy you and the portion is also quite generous too! 繼續閱讀

As Chinese, we cannot eat without noodles and buns which are our forefathers' main source of food input, especially the northerners in ancient China. Nanxiang's steamed buns are awesome. They tasted so refreshing when eating with ginger and soy sauce. A must to try at the restaurant. The noodles which signify longevity is a chief source of carbohydrates besides rice in Asian society. Nanxiang's noodles is freshly man-made by the chefs everday, no wonder they tasted so satisfying in our mouths. Another must-try cuisine at Nanxiang without a doubt. 繼續閱讀
