Mixed Vegetable Rice - Kim San Leng (已結業)

Not knowing what to have for dinner, I decided to try the Mixed Vegetable Rice shop since there is always a queue at the shop. I ordered one meat and one vegetable - sweet and sour pork and dou miao. The chicken meat tasted great marinated with the sauce. The price is really cheap as I only paid $2.20 for it inclusive of rice. Probably the food is cheap, that's why there is always a crowd at the shop.

These tau kee strips may look simple and unattractive in appearance, but it is fillled with really nice and sweet tau kee that will like by their regular customers. The texture of it is really smooth and it is so soft that you can almost feel like you are able to swallow through. The tau kee is filled with that really sweet light sauce flavour and it is not too oily. Great to have it with porridge as well.
