Normally, the Chicken Pie was served nearly 9 inches in diameter. However, Yan Seng stall is surprisingly selling little chicken pie. Although their chicken pie was small, yet Chicken Pie is filled fully with breast chicken meat, steamed potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, peas and corns. With so many snacks sold at this store, one wonders what’s good and what’s not. Went off with a safer bet of the fried carrot cake as it can never go wrong. The carrot cake was just okay. A little sweet and spicy, the carrot cake did not smell as strong as it was while cooking. The taste was there but a little more flavour would have made it nicer.

If you are a big fan of traditional teochew kueh then you gotta check out this stall.
