There is a few stalls selling fried carrot cake and I chose this stall over the others.Initially after I ordered and got my plate of fried carrot cake, I regret choosing this stall because the auntie wasn't very friendly. The service is not very good and when the food is ready they simply left it above the utensils holder and I have to get it myself. They did not say anything and I'm not sure if that’s mine but since it matches with what I ordered so I just took it.The plate of $2.50 white fried carrot cake looks small too. The portion is quite little on the plate used. Hence presentation wise isn’t very good.However glad that it tastes quite delicious ;DThe outer is quite crispy and the carrot cake is really soft and tasteful. The amount of egg is average.As a whole it is fragrant and nice. Really like the texture and softness. I hardly need to chew to swallow it. The ingredients and seasoning is just right. Although it is a little too salty but still, it is tasty Would recommend this white carrot cake based on its taste. If considering the service and other aspects, it isn’t that worth it then.Nonetheless, worth giving it a try for the taste ;D

This is a good recommendation for those carrot cake lovers and I am sure you guys will definitely love it. I have always preferred the white carrot cake to the black ones. This stall serves the most authentic taste for fried carrot cake as they uses fish sauce in their cooking. The carrot cake was being fried to a slightly crisp layer with a coating of beaten egg, it is not too greasy as nowadays people are health conscious about food. It is garnished with a sprinkle of spring onions alongside with their homemade sambal chilli that will definitely adds a fiery kick to it that makes your dish even more delicious.

My favourite carrot cake is the fried white carrot cake because it is fried till nice and golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside. This carrot cake is fried till perfection and the egg is so crispy and this carrot cake is also not too oily. It is also very flavorful and tasty that makes me crave to have more of it. This is a must-try food in Singapore as it is very nice.

The black carrot unlike other stalls have a more fragrant dark sweet sauce flavour for their black carrot cake. The carrot cake is very moist, soft and easy to chew. The generous amount of beaten eggs added to it also added that extra nice crunchy flavour to the carrot cake as well. But do be careful if you cannot take very spicy food, do request for little bit of chilli if you want your carrot cake to be spicy as their chilli is extremely spicy.

I was craving for black carrot cake so I got myself a plate. It was very reasonably priced, $2.50 for quite a fairly large portion. The carrot cake is so soft and chewy. they added a lot of black sauce when they fried the carrot cake, it made the carrot cake very sweet and tasty. just the way I liked it. There were chunks of fried egg fried together with the carrot cake. Totally satisfied my craving.
