First time coming for lunch.Super crowded if you come here at lunch time. After having our, you will notice that there isn't any dessert stall at the 1st level.So we headed to the 2nd level of the food centre.And we saw this dessert stall.Not much at this stall ? As this is the only dessert stall at Amoy Street Food Centre.The stall sell more hot dessert than cold dessert.Order the Yam paste with red bean paste and gingko nut.At $2.50. If i happen to pass by this stall, i will normally order my favourite yam paste here. The yam paste is very smooth in texture and it is also not too sweet as well. The gingko nuts used in it are also very chewy and quite fresh too. The combination of these two items simply are good and goes together very well too. Usually sold out quite fast so do be there early to avoid dissapointment.

zhen jie can be found in the middle row at the 2nd level of amoy food centre. they sell a large variety of local chinese desserts but the one that i always go for is the mango pomelo. the mangoes are always fresh and sweet and balanced with the slightly bitterness of the pomelos. its quite a heavy dessert so i usually have it take away back to work to eat slowly

At noon, after our lunch, its time for us to go for a cooling dessert. Head to Ah moy food center at 2nd floor, look for Zhenjie dessert, definitely something for you to choose from, My favourite is their mangoes with pomelos dessert , only 2.50 for a big bowl n their colourful rice ball, Love it .
