Today the canteen looks less crowded than usual. As there is no queue at the order side, I decide to order here. I place order for a Tom Yum Yu Mian. It seems that my dish takes longer to cook as the order of the girl behind is served first.Tom Yum Yu Mian ($3.00)It is very thick and spicy for the broth. The egg is half cooked and I can taste the molten egg yolk lava flowing out, which I like. Overall it is a very filling meal.

Having the minced meat noodles ($2.50) today which is commonly known as Zha Jiang Mian (炸酱面). The queue is extremely long today and waited quite awhile. For this stall, one has to queue to order, follows by queue to collect and pay for food. The minced meat is quite big in pieces, would prefer in smaller pieces. As it is quite dry, I also request for a small of soup so I could soften the noodle. The soup is full bodied and very flavourful.

It has been a while since I last has bought food from this food. Looking at the menu, got ban mian, ban mian dry, fish soup, fish noodle. There is also a variety noodles to choose from. Thinking of having something healthy, I order mian xian ban mian soup. Very huge bowl for just $2. Pipping hot, with green leafy vegetables, meat balls and egg. Very tasty and filling.
