This stall has 2 queues, one for the usual like fishball noodles, Lor Mee, Pork Ribs noodles and the other one for Ban Mian, Mee Sua and Mee Hoon Kui. Usually the latter one is shorter. So I choose Ban Mian for lunch at $2.20.In this bowl, it contains fresh dumpling (non-fried), egg, mushroom, crunchy and fresh vegetables and minced meat. Can consider a lot of ingredients, quite generous and also a healthier choice for those clean eater. The ban mian noodles has a very smooth surface although some are stick together and it tastes good. Properly cooked because never get to taste some harden ones except those sticking together. Although it has nothing much to rave about but consider the price and portion, it is definitely better than those outside ones where ingredients are little, ban mian never cook properly and pricey. Here you can get it at half the price of what you get out there.

Been having these for years already, and they never did change their price, nor their portion despite the inflation. That might explain the long queue everyday. At least they do work relatively fast, so the queue do move fast. The pork ribs noodle is my favorite from this stall, and the ribs were well marinated. They do add some dried chili to the marination, so do expect some extremely small bits of spiciness. Eggs can be added for additional 40cents

The Chinese Noodles stall at Science canteen (The Frontier) is always long queue during lunch hours. They offer a whole range of noodles choices, including Loh Mee, Wanton Mee, Pork Ribs Noodles, Ban Mee etc. I tried the Minced Meat Noodles for the very first time. You can choose either $1.80 or $2 portion. As far as I enjoy eating the noodles from this stall, I'm not too impressed with this minced meat noodles. The minced meat is cooked in plain soup, without much seasoning, pretty much tasteless.

i think this is one of the longest queue in science canteen during lunch time which is why i seldom get to eat it during lunch. normally i will eat from this store in the morning or evening whereby i do not have to queue for at least 10 people before i can get my food. this store is famous for the fried wanton noodle, the wanton is really crispy. the store also allows you to choose either $1.80 or $2 which corresponding to the different portion in size, so is great if you want to just have something smal for a meal

This stall serves wanton noodles, pork rib noodles, lor mee and ban mian. The smallest serving is at $1.80 but for me I usually go for $2. Having tried the pork rib noodles and lor mee before and both are pretty delicious, I decided to try the wanton noodle this time round. The char siew is not fatty but I think it is not marinated well enough. The sauce for the noodle was added adequately such that it was neither too dry nor too soggy. I think the wanton noodle is not as good as the pork ribs noodles and lor mee.
