This carrot cake is much tastier than those which can get from other dim sum stalls. The carrot cake here is full of the shredded carrot fragrant and the kueh is very smooth and compact. Love those crispy outer crust as it actually added that extra crunchiness to it. Eat it on its own or to dip with some of their sweet chilli sauce taste equally delicious! It sold out quite fast daily, so do go down earlier to avoid disappointment.

I was looking for a late morning snack at West Mall Koufu food court yesterday, and settled for a piece of fried yam cake at $0.80. It was lightly warm, and I added some condiments like the chilli sauce and sweet sauce. I like it that I can taste the chunks of yam in it and the overall flavour of the yam cake is not too bad. It managed to fill my stomach nicely too for a light snack plus the cheap price I paid- awesome!
