Delicious Chicken Rice!

This chicken rice stall is very popular!   There is always a queue each time I visit this coffeeshop. At long last, I decided to satisfy my curiosity on the standard of its chicken rice, but could only master a takeaway version at best.On first look, it certainly looked like the rice overwhelmed the chicken meat. But you won't regret! The rice was absolutely delicious!  Not overly flavoured with ginger, and not overloaded with MSG till it numbed the tongue. So good that I could eat the rice on

On first look, it certainly looked like the rice overwhelmed the chicken meat. But you won't regret! The rice was absolutely delicious! 
Not overly flavoured with ginger, and not overloaded with MSG till it numbed the tongue. So good that I could eat the rice on its own (with the suce over it, of course). The chicken meat was tender (btw it's breast meat there) and succulent. The spiciness of the chilli was just nice too! 

For $3-$4, it was certainly a tasty lunch for me! I'll definitely visit this stall again, and probably ask for more rice?

Great chicken rice!

Sometimes the simplest dishes are the best ones. This particular chicken rice stall has been here for many years and queues are always long during the afternoon and evenings, even on weekdays. It is also the earliest stall to close in the coffee shop and I hardly see it open after 8+pm. Fair enough, the stall has been recognised by Channel 8 show New City Beat and the episode is played on a mini screen beside the shop.And I'll have to admit, it is really that good. The chicken rice is tasty as i

The chicken rice is tasty as it does have a pleasant mild flavour without any sauce. However, the sauce on the chicken just adds to that flavour and makes it so much better. The $2.50 dish will put the chicken on the rice while the $3 dish will separate the chicken, but I'd end up pouring over all the sauce onto the rice anyway. While it can be salty sometimes, the sauce is simply one of the best in the area.

Of couse, not forgeting the chicken, which was tender and usually given very generously. I personally think that the roasted chicken sold here tastes better than the white one, but both are pretty good.

Nice and juicy, awesome Fat and tender chicken thigh meat, love it especially with the skin on!!Very well cooked till perfection, retains natural flavor and juice of chicken...Every bite is an ultimate pleasure...The chili sauce that came along was pretty good but i would rather have the chicken without the chili to enjoy the natural flavor and the wholesome goodness of this chicken...Yummy!! Highly recommended...Great food at very reasonable prices!!

Very well cooked till perfection, retains natural flavor and juice of chicken...Every bite is an ultimate pleasure...The chili sauce that came along was pretty good but i would rather have the chicken without the chili to enjoy the natural flavor and the wholesome goodness of this chicken...

Yummy!! Highly recommended...Great food at very reasonable prices!!

Lunch with mummy , wanted to ordered chicken wing rice which cost $3.50 , but business very good ah all the wings sold all out so we ordered normal chicken rice .the set cost $2,80 i like the black skin chicken rice , and not the white skin chicken rice .as different people got different taste anyway the texture of the chicken , very soft and its not very oily. the soup , strong flavor ! NICE .
