Ichiban Boshi (已結業)

We decided to head to ichiban boshi hoping that the food there would whet her appetite and it did. We ordered their ugnai mini rice bowl, salmon mini rice bowl, cold toufu, chawamushi, fried tempura set. It came with fruits and soup as well. All these food only cost us less than 20 dollars, very worth it. the salmon was really very fresh, it simply melts in your mouth. The unagi is really very tasty. The chawamushi is so smooth, simply slides down your throat. satisfying meal.

There are some set lunch during lunchtime. I ordered the cheesy chicken bento set. The cost is very reasonable.It is only $15.90 for so many things.There are rice,cheesy chicken,watermelon,miso soup,chawanmushi and sashimi.The cheesy chicken is just normal,i thought it will be very crispy but it is not.I like the sashimi,it is quite fresh and i like the taste of it.The miso soup is a bit too salty for me,but my friend said that it is quite ok.The chawanmushi is very normal.I more prefer the saka

Ordered the teppanyaki beef slices rice set at Ichiban Boshi for dinner.The beef is tender and not cooked until old and hard. The portion is quite large too.

i love the desserts at ichiban boshi. Everything I go there, I will definitely save some space for desserts. my favourite is their apple look alike dessert. There is ice cream inside and a chocolate shell. The ice cream is really nice and rich. It is also very creamy. I love eating it layer by layer till I reach the ice cream. My girlfriend says I look like a child when I am eating this.

Ichiban boshi became one of my favorite place ever since I tried their lobster salad sushi years ago where it's not served in other brands. This time I came to the Esplanade branch with a bff while waiting for our concert.The esplanade branch is a place u would feel relaxed once u step in, once u sit down u feel like u can sit for hours. Ichiban Boshi is a great value for money Japanese restaurant. It has a wide menu of food item and great set meals as well. It serves from sushi to tonkatsu type os dishes and most of it is quite delicious!
