Visited this outlet for the first time about 10.30am on a Saturday. It was a little crowded with most customers from a neighbouring secondary school. The queues at the counters were slow, and the restaurant manager looked lost at times in the kitchen. I hear people sighing and see them having impatient looks while waiting in the queue with me.

When it was finally my turn at the counter, I ordered the AM Platter and AM Porridge meals. Though I hear another counter staff telling the counter staff serving me that there are no more AM Platter meals, the restaurant manager informed otherwise. My AM Platter meal order was taken and I saw no honey biscuit in it when served, but there were 2 hashbrowns. I was only informed, upon asking, that there were no more honey biscuits and I was given an additional hashbrown as substitute.

Though the counter staff was polite, I was not pleased that I was not informed earlier that they had ran out of honey biscuits, since I chose the AM Platter meal in view of its inclusion of the honey biscuit which I had never tried.

Service aside, the AM Platter was definitely inferior to McDonald's Big Breakfast. The hashbrowns lacked salt (no salt was provided to me) and the food was in general, less tasty than that of Big Breakfast. The only saving grace was the brewed coffee, which was fragrant and not overly-bitter.

I wouldn't visit this outlet again.

My sis was at the Optical shop nxt door to try out her newly bought specs and since it was nearing dinnertime, i was quite hungry and decided to go over to KFC to grab something to eat. There was quite a crowd in the fast food restaurant, almost all the tables were occupied. The queue was quite short though, only about 2ppl in front of me so I didnt have to wait long. When it was my turn, i immediately ordered a medium sized mashed potato. My mum was cooking dinner at home so i didnt want to have a full stomach.

I just love KFC's mashed potato, even though i have tried many mashed potatoes from many different fast food restaurants. Not sure why is that so, mayb it's salty enough to my liking, or it's the sauce which im addicted to. Haha!

Even my mum's homemade mashed potato cant compare to KFC's (dun tell her i said so)

Of course i would continue eating mashed potato whenever i step foot into KFC, unless i can find 1 kind of mash potato which i like better (though i doubt so)!

The best way to start a day, is to have some delicious breakfast. I ordered the Twister Original this time. It is basically a wrap, with chicken chunks, scrambled egg, tomato cubes and cheese. I like how all the ingredients complement each other nicely and perfectly. Together with a drink (coffee or tea), it costs $4.90. There is another Twister flavor, called Twister American, where instead of chicken chunks, they put in bacon and hashbrown. I prefer the Twister Original definitely.

However, the wrap seems to have shrink in size..
