KFC (已結業)

It was another 2 hours before dinner and I was starving. So I decided to go for something light. I normally order the drumstick set if I wanted light meal but this time, I wanted to try the roller set but changed the fries to cheese fries.The roller tasted yummy. I like the generous amount of melted cheese inside the wrap. In addition to the crispiness of the chicken bits, it gave a nice texture to the entire wrap. Because it is really small, you won't get too full by eating the set. Good

The chocolate egg tart is nice. The chocolate taste very nice and there is not too much chocolate inside the tart which did not overwhelmed the taste of the tart itself. It is perfect as an afternoon snack or a desert after meals. The environment is suitable for chilling and chatting.

I chose crispy for the chicken and it was very nice. The skin was delicious and the meat was tender. The potato whip was nice too. The egg tart was sweet and the skin was crispy. It was worthy of the portion given(The picture shown was my half of the buddy meal). The environment is suitable for chilling.

The KFC portugese egg tarts are sold at $1.30 each and $7.50 for a box of 6. The tarts look really like those from Macau with that light brown soft and crispy skin and that bright yellow creamy egg with patches of brown. They certainly look palatable. Having personally tasted the portugese egg tart from Macau, there is certainly some difference but I would say KFC ones taste pretty good too. However, I must say the taste differ from outlets to outlets. The tarts taste best when it is served hot.
