It was past 9pm after movie and there was limited choices for food in the cathay. One of the choices was the Misato. Certain items such its well known signature dessert Misato Paw Anmitsu was already sold out. Please take note there was a 10% service charge. Credit cards and NETS were accepted here. A number tag was given after making payment at the counter.Misato Ebi Donburi ($10.90+)Prawn & egg in seasoned broth over riceIt was served with 3 breaded tiger prawns (standing upright), and fried e
Prawn & egg in seasoned broth over rice
It was served with 3 breaded tiger prawns (standing upright), and fried egg with caramelised onions in seasoned broth, over plain rice. The fried egg was decorated with seaweed and colorful looking fish roes. Cheese Korokke ($5.50+)
The croquettes were made of fluffy mashed potatoes, chopped ham, and mozzarella cheese, served with Yakiniku Sauce (Japanese BBQ sauce). It was covered with a thin crust of crispy crumbs. Nice and cheesy to have. Grilled Mochi Zenzai ($5.50+)
azuki bean (red bean) and grilled mochi
It was actually hot red bean soup. The red beans were like kidney beans as they were huge in size. The mochi was covered with a crispy crust and had a soft and chewy texture inside. The red soup was just the right thing to have to recover from the cold air con in the cinema hall. It was warm and not too sweet to taste.
Overall the food was great and much effort was used to serve the food in an exquisite way, which made one felt like dining in an atas restaurant.
