Lunch with colleague SL at Old Town White Coffee at White Sands Shopping Mall. We wanted to try out Pepper Lunch but the queue was too long, probably some weekday lunch promotion.I ordered the Hainanese Chicken Chop Rice. Haha.. compared to my family's authentic Hainanese Chicken Chop, this one pales in comparison. However, the dish was still decent enough to make me want to come back for more.

I am a regular customer at Old Town especially for breakfast but yesterday was the first time that I tried their Steam BreadI am sure glad I did and did it taste yummy!Apart from the fact that I found the 2 pieces of bread abit too big to fit into my mouth, it was really soft and smooth once they melted into my mouth. In this stuffy sunny afternoon, the weather is extremely hot near to 34 degree C... I guess so. I feel very thirsty and tired that I urge to have a pleasant place to rest my feet. I order a glass of ice cream float. After a sip, my body feel good that not only cool me down immediately and the taste of the vanilla ice cream with mountain Dew is fantastic good. The peppermint leaves refreshing my mind and all of my tiredness is gone at once.

In the afternoon, I found this Restaurant selling Mini Prawn Meehoon noodles. At present moment, the restaurant only supplies this bowl of noodles from 3 to 5 pm in the afternoon during week day. The amount is quite little but is very suitable for afternoon high tea. I really like the taste and enjoy eating it and feel that the noodles are soft tender, not spicy and oily at all.

Here came to coffee tasting, my cup of white coffee was rich and smooth, it was a good cup of coffee to me. I have tried a mouth of ice coffee, it was fantastic, super rich in coffee taste, though it was rich it didn’t have bitter or sour tastes, the after taste linker for long. For such price, it worth every cent! As my friend uses to have Starbuck espresso, Old Town ice coffee could be the replacement with such a price.
