Chicken crepe~ The chicken crepe was nice. The chicken was tender and juicy and the crepe is crispy. Every bite, There is this crunchy taste and the juice of the chicken seems to oozed out of my mouth. The lettuce in it is also fresh and crunchy(: I love it~Kimchi BBQ pork crepe! I love the kimchi. It is bit spicy and sour. The BBQ pork combine with the kimchi makes this crepe not too spicy or sour at all. The taste is just right.This two crepe is the best I like

For dinner, we went to Out Of The Pan located at Raffles City. I ordered the duck crepe which costs $14.90. I picked the sun dried tomato flavour crepe which has a little flavouring on the crepe. The duck meat was tender and made a great combination. The lettuce was very fresh and refreshing.

Fresh Berries $13.50with vanilla bean icecreamThis waffle is made of whole wheat and is really quite bready - with a slight crisp at the edges. It is dusted all over with sugar and we thought that there was cinammon in the batter as well. It was alright, I guess - especially with the ice cream - although we preferred the fluffier waffle at Shokudo. The strawberries were extremely fresh and sweet and crunchy!

I ordered the duck crepe with sun dried tomato flavoured crepe which tasted really good. The dish is one of the chef’s recommended choices. The price was cheap too with UOB 1-for-1 credit card discount, valid on weekdays only. It costs around $20 for two crepes with the promotion. The ambience is great for dining, cozy environment seated around the fountain.

However, the crepe was rather delicious but it could have been better if they have a variety of sauces to choose from!

out of the pan specialises in crepes, and they do them in a lovely way! (: it's pretty interesting how many of them have an asian twist, like a few of those we ordered. mine was the korean bbq pork crepe ($14.50). there is a choice of three different type of crepe skins (or whatever you call it
) - plain, whole wheat and sundried tomato. i'm always fascinated by the name of the sundried tomato, so i always order that. no idea how different it tastes though! the korean bbq pork crepe came with kimchi on the side, and coupled with the fresh salad, it added a refreshing element to the dish. the pork was infused with a similar aroma you would have if eating it with rice, and it tasted nice with the crepe! (:
the peking duck crepe ($15.50) was nice as well! it's not really the peking duck in chinese restaurants. more like normal roast duck? but with the tasty sauce in the crepe, who really bothers whether it's authentic or not? it was good (:
i didn't really try the honey soy chicken crepe (i think that's what it's called) but my friend said it was nice!

Nothing was particularly outstanding and since prices are comparative to Crêperie des Arts and Entre-Nous Crêperie, I’d rather go to those authentic crêperies anytime. Trust me, you will taste a world of difference!

My mom and I had dinner at Out of the Pan after a day's shopping since they were having a 1-for-1 uob card promotion anyway. Very suitable for those who enjoy having a light dinner yet mind-filling. I had the black pepper beef crepe while my mom ordered the seafood jungle. I really enjoyed the yoghurt sauce squeezed on top of my crepe. The crepes were so good, my mom and I both wiped them off the plates, including the side salad. Wouldn't say much about the ambience though. Situated around a fou

Situated around a fountain where above are escalators, it's definitely a noisy restaurant to dine at.

I love their sun dried tomato crepe with Korean BBQ Pork filling. The pork filling is well marinated & the crepe is crispy. Oh it also comes with a small side serving of kimchi (see the red-colored "salad" on the rite of the pic above).Have a bite if u happen to pass by that area too!

Not too long ago, I brought Mum to try the crepes from Out of the Pan & I enjoyed the Chicken cutlet so much so that I want to order it again. When I ordered the ‘‘ Asian Spiced chicken salad” this time, I was surprised that the dish looks so different and double check if they have made a mistake . After re-confirmation, I realized that the waiter who served me the previous time made a mistake in my order and this time the order was the correct one.

Turkey Salad ($9.50++)
The salad came with generous pieces of turkey ham. I like the tangy apple balsamic which goes very well with the salad leaves and turkey ham.

Asian spiced chicken salad ($12.50++)
This is the correct version of the ”Asian spiced chicken salad”.Pieces of chicken breast meat lightly drizzled with some asian dressing( a little tangy). I am not a fan of breast meat and it was a little tad too dry for my liking.

Peking duck crepe ($16.50++)
The signature crepe here & Mum had it in the sun-dried tomato crepe. She enjoyed the duck meat but the skin was a little too chewy & rubbery. There were significant pieces of lychee meat in it to add a tinge of sweetness. The only downside- Crepe was too thick.

Tandoori chicken crepe($15.50++)
There were generous chunks of tandoori chicken in the crepe but the meat was a little too tough and dry. The crepe skin was again- toooo thick!
Verdict: Hits & misses here. The turkey salad is the type of salad that I personally like & I missed the Chicken cutlet!

The Menu
They offer a range of appetitizers and salads.
The crepes are classified under different sections(savoury)- Vegetarian, Poultry, Fish& Seafood and Meat.
Sweet: Chocolate filled with bananas, tiramisu ….
For the crepes, choose from White, wholewheat or sun-dried tomato .

Fish Marsala ($16++)
” braised groper meat with marsala spices”
The crepes were soft and warm. It was filled with generously chunks of marsala groper meat & shredded lettuce. The only complain is that the fish smells fishy .

Asian Spice chicken breast salad ($12.50++)
Mum’s Asian Spice chicken breast was well-marinated with spices. The chicken meat was tender & juicy. They serve along some mango with lime dressing to go along with the chicken . However, I felt that the chicken breast was already well-marinated thus the dressing is a little unnecessary.
Verdict: It was rather difficult to get the attention of the staff due to the the crowd. Many are seen queueing up , waiting for a table. Business was good yet they are understaffed. The crepes were innovative but the fish marsala crepe that I had DID NOT passed.
