Yaki Yaki Bo Teppanyaki (已結業)

The salad consists of cucumber, lettuce, carrot, tomatoes and jicama (aka "bang kwang). It was actually the first time I had jicama in a salad. The vegetables used were relatively fresh and was relatively filling for a light lunch. What makes the salad so unique though, is the orange sauce. I have no idea what sauce it was but it had a very unique taste that was kind of sour and sweet. My family really liked the salad and I'd totally recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice juicy salad.

I prefer bread over rice so I was thrilled to find this food item on Yaki Yaki Bo's menu. I've never seen Japanese restaurants serving food along with bread so it was a nice surprise. This is the first time I dined at Yaki Yaki Bo and I decided to try Okonomiyaki for my first time. I ordered for ham and cheese Okonomiyaki. It is basically a Japanese savoury pancake consisting of lots of cabbage, ham and cheese. It is then topped off with the sauce taste like the sauce takoyaki stalls put on their takoyakis and a lot of bonito flakes. Shopped in Jurong Point with my family and decided to try a Japanese Restaurant other than one with sushi.So we walked into Yaki Yaki Bo.We ordered a set meal and an okonomiyaki!Service was so-so but the food was great!Love their okonomiyaki!
