ordered the yu kee duck rice set as i was happy to see my favourite peanut in the rice :) not only that is peanuts in it, there are also eggs and beancurd accompaning the main side dish of duck meat. The meat is tender and with it small size it is easy for me to bite. The rice smell fragrantly nice and is not to hard ! Feeling satisfied and i will definitely be back again

Yu Kee Duck Rice has been around in Singapore for quite some time and I think they serve the better duck rice among other coffeeshop stalls. As usual, I ordered their Speciality Duck Rice which comes with braised duck, peanuts, beancurd and braised egg. The yam rice is very fragrant and the taste is evenly spread. The duck is well braised and pretty tender, thus will not make your jaw tired. However, the beancurd does not really have any taste, it must be eaten together with the gravy. At $3.50,

I like the kway chap at YUKEE because their soup is very aromatic as they added herbs in their soup, making it more nutrious.I am surprised it is not bitter at all even though they added herbs.The size of their kway is big and it is not too thin nor thick, it is just right.It is smooth and easy to eat.And for the kway alone, it is only at $0.50 per serving, i find it good value.The kway chap set comes with the standard pig intestine,tau pok etc,their taste is acceptable.

There are lotsa franchisee under the brand name 'Yu kee' and I've tasted numerous stall before concluding that this would be the most consistent one.This duck rice stall is probably the longest surviving stall in this food court ever since rivervale plaza started.They serve only braised duck here. Serving size was quite reasonable for a standard portionEvery grain of the rice is full of yam fragrant,Duck was consistently good. The meat are tender, well braised.Chili: I love their chili !
