The last stall which we try during the hawker trail by OpenRice is Seng Kee Local Delights. We are thinking of having something local and the stall is just next to where we are sitting. It sells a variety of local stir fried from Fried Kway Teow 炒粿條, Fried Hokkien Mee, Fried Carrot Cakes (in both white and black), Prawn Noodle, Laska to Fried Oyster Omelette 蚵仔煎. The Char Kway Teow costs $4 a serving. There is no char taste and lacking of wok feel. It just feels like stir fried flat noodles in black sauce. Too mashed up to use chopsticks to with. Has to use spoon instead. There is no crisp bits of pork lard too.
The Fried Oyster Omelette costs $5 for small serving and fares slightly better. But also do not have the char and crispy taste. Overall the stall still have alot to improve on.
