The da mai (大麦) is quite thick and not too sweet.
The hot version of bo bo cha cha is much sweeter, and has cubes of sweet potatoes, yam and red rubies. The red ruby is made of water chestnut with tapioca flour coating. Crunchy but very small pieces. Overall very tasty desserts. As the stall is quite busy, most of the tables has quite a number of dessert bowls that are not cleared. So overall the place is quite a sight. An aunty from the Laksa stall even put a stack of leftover bowls on my table, while I am still eating. (Shake head).
