Went there for lunch on a Saturday and as usual, it's packed with people. However, my friends and I were able to get seats within 10 mins. Service was prompt and we were attended to immediately and our orders came very fast. We ordered a pot of tea (refillable by the kettle on the side, there's a water tap available for you to boil the water yourself as well), bak kut teh, braised pig trotters and a plate of vegetables.
The bak kut teh has a nice peppery and garlic taste, different from the traditional black one. The soup is refillable and unlimited and the person will come around refilling quite often, so don't worry about finishing the soup! One bowl of bak kut teh with 3 pork ribs is quite alot, so good to share with friends.
The braised pig trotters is quite nice, but half the dish is full of fats, so if you don't like to eat fats, I would advise you not to order this. Overall, it's worth it, reasonable price, efficient service and good food!
