This wanton mee has been around in this hawker centre for a very long time. When I was young, the stall was manned by a husband and wife team. Later it was passed to the son who is also the current cook in the stall. The stall is still quite popular even until now. Even on a quiet weekday morning, it is common to find it with a queue of people. The prices of the noodle dishes are quite reasonable ranging from $2.50 for a serving of wanton mee. Although there is queue, service is quite fast.Today

Today I decide to go for the Ipoh Hor Fan ($3) which has shredded chicken and char siew on the hor fan. It is served with 2 pieces of wanton in soup. The sauce on the hor fan has a slight herbal taste and makes the noodles quite tasty. I also top up $1 for 2 pieces of dumplings which taste quite juicy and meaty.
