This wanton mee has been around in this hawker centre for a very long time. When I was young, the stall was manned by a husband and wife team. Later it was passed to the son who is also the current cook in the stall. The stall is still quite popular even until now. Even on a quiet weekday morning, it is common to find it with a queue of people. The prices of the noodle dishes are quite reasonable ranging from $2.50 for a serving of wanton mee. Although there is queue, service is quite fast.Today

Call me a suaku (Mountain tortoise) cos I never been to here for meals at all cos I seldom hit the North. I saw Queue forming up so I just join in cos I am aiming their chicken noodle. Besides chicken noodle, they also sell the char siew wantan mee which many are q-ing for it. Sometimes I am afraid of the noodle smell which is very strong but this one not bad .... and the noodle still very Q not overcooked too. Chicken is very soft not tough the sauce is nice too but their chilli not spicy. Ov

It used to be my favourite wanton mee but i have not been visiting too often after they increased the price and shrunk the portion. This noodle stall is only operates in the morning till early noon. My usual order has been mee pok dry. It came with slices of char siew, the green and 2 wantons in the soup. They made the char siew right at their stall. Their wanton mee has got an old school taste.

The wanton mee from this very stall is a part of my growing up memories. I used to come with grandpa when i was a kid. We always seated right in front of the stall after ordered and waiting for the wanton mee to be served. But now, perhaps as part of cost effective measures, self-service is implemented with a raise in price. It raised from $2.00 to $2.50 for smaller portion and $3.50 for the bigger portion. The serving portion has been reduced though.I still come here for wanton noodle once in a
