A good friend got promoted and told me he is treating me to anything I want to eat (haha got hammered). Heard about this place a lot so I chose to dine here.This place is very modern and “atas” (high class) looking, the service is efficient but somehow the servers look expressionless, this is weird coming from a hotel background. We ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice, and when it came, to my disappointment, the rice (although hot), doesn’t have any of those chicken rice fragrance which is the basics
This place is very modern and “atas” (high class) looking, the service is efficient but somehow the servers look expressionless, this is weird coming from a hotel background. We ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice, and when it came, to my disappointment, the rice (although hot), doesn’t have any of those chicken rice fragrance which is the basics. And the Chicken was cold and tough. The only thing that had flavour was the chilli and dark sauces.
$30? What a waste! We went dutch because I’m not going to let my friend off easy.
